Our mission is to see bridges built; connecting children to God and to each other through a caring community and teaching Jesus’ offer of freedom through the gospel! We want to come alongside moms and dads to see God’s family built through loving discipleship, nurturing one another to spiritual maturity in the family of God. Our desire is to bring up a generation of young people who would be disciples making disciples!
At the heart of our vision is the desire to build bridges and build family. Our weekly Bible Time is a very basic resource intended to help you, the spiritual leader of your family, facilitate time in the Word, prayer and conversation with your children, taking simple steps to point them toward Jesus. These sheets are free to download and use any time.
We offer nursery and Sunday school for children age 0 through 3rd grade during the 8:00 am and 9:30 am services. We offer Sunday school for children grades 4th – 6th on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Sundays during the 8:00 am and 9:30 am services.
Our staffed nursery is available at the start of each service for children ages 0-24 months. All adult volunteers have completed background checks. The nursery is stocked with age appropriate toys, a toddler bathroom, and a changing table. We also have a privacy area for nursing mothers. Across the hall, there is a cry room for parents of young children. The cry room is available as a place to console an unsettled child. You will be able to watch the sermon from the room through a live feed and even enjoy a cup of coffee or tea.
Children worship with their families at the beginning of the service and are dismissed for Sunday school after the announcements.
Our 2 & 3 year old class rotates through Bible stories out of the Jesus Storybook Bible. This class still has the nursery style format with lots of toys and things for the kids to do.
Our 4 & 5 year old class asks that all children be potty trained. This class incorporates a formal classroom setting. We teach a lesson from Lifeway’s Gospel Project curriculum, do a craft, eat a small snack, and have fun.
Our 1st – 3rd grade classroom also utilizes Lifeway’s Gospel Project curriculum. We include a snack and activity.
Our 4th-6th grade class meets the second, third, and fourth Sunday of each month. The teachers discuss the same topic or passage that is being taught upstairs during the sermon. On the first Sunday of each month, this age group joins us in corporate worship to celebrate communion.
Note: Children are also welcome to remain with their parents during the service if their parents so desire.
Throughout the year, the children in the church also participate in seasonal plays, especially at Christmas time.
On 5th Sundays, nursery is available during the 8:00am and 9:30am services, while the rest of the children remain in the service to worship corporately together.

In the summer, we host a week-long Vacation Bible School for our BBF families. The event is theme-focused with Bible teaching, games, and worship. We incorporate missions, prayer, and activities designed to help facilitate Biblical understanding, all of which is directed by our volunteers with elder oversight.
