Easter Series pt. 1: Palm Sunday

Sermon quote of the week:

“Hearing someone speak on the resurrection can be like re-watching a well-loved movie for the thousandth time. It isn’t that you don’t love it anymore, it’s just that you know what is going to be said next before it happens.

On the positive side, it is good if the reality of Jesus’ resurrection is so familiar to us that it is just part of our mental topography.

But the danger is that we can begin to mindlessly go through the routine, sing the special songs, attend the special services, and never really pay attention to or deeply engage with the foundational reality of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ and what it means to us.” – Seth
