We have a nursery for babies and toddlers under 3 years. Parents are welcome to stay as long as they like or check back often in order to keep their little one secure and comfortable. There is a staffed nursery room with several volunteers, and a variety of toys and books. Staff engage the children with stories, imaginative play, and a time of worship. Next door, we have a non-staffed nursing nook where the service can be heard via speakers and where children can play. We also offer a cry room with a comfortable sofa and chairs, which also has optional speakers and video feed to the service.
For three-, four- and five-year-olds, the teachers provide an age-appropriate Bible lesson, a craft, a small snack and fun activities such as puppets, puzzles or other projects.
The class for 1st through 3rd graders features a through-the-Bible curriculum, Bible memory, games and fellowship. Beginning readers become familiar with the Bible, learn the books of the Bible, and learn how God’s Word can help them in their own lives. Lessons are presented in fun, practical ways, and kids come home with a better knowledge of Bible Stories and how to obey God.
Kids in 4th through 6th grade study Biblical topics and real-life application. Several Sundays a month, the kids in this class are encouraged to sit with their families during the sermon, and are provided with “Treasure Hunt” maps to glean the most from God’s word in the adult service. On Sundays when kids are downstairs, teachers hold group discussions to help kids apply what they heard in the sermons to their lives. In this way, kids learn how to listen during the adult service to teaching from God’s Word; they also learn to apply the Bible to real situations with school, siblings, and decision-making.
Children are also welcome to remain with their parents during the service if they so desire.
Throughout the year, the children in the church also participate in seasonal plays, especially at Christmas time, they assist with sermon skits and every 5th Sunday is dedicated to the families and especially the children. Bridge Bible is fully committed to maintaining healthy families and helping raise children to know the Bible and love Jesus!
Bridge Bible Fellowship is also committed to the safety of the children in our care. For more information about this please read our safety guidelines.
Our youth group meets on Wednesday nights at 7:00 PM at the church. Typical ages are 7th grade through 12th grade.
On Wednesday nights, Youth leaders serve snacks, play games, have a Bible lesson and then the students split up into small groups to discuss what they have learned and get to know one another better.
Throughout the year, the youth group goes on trips, outings and events. Parents of teens are also welcome and encouraged to be a part of these events, as we grow together as families.
Please contact Nate Anglen at the church for more information.
The youth group also has a Facebook group.
